	Question 1: Problem with restroom at work Dear Feng Shui Scholar, What to do about an office that faces the restroom at work? Angel Lau Answer: Hello Angel :) I m sorry to hear about your work place facing the restroom. There are a few things you should consider doing to remedy the situation: 1. Ensure that the door of the restroom is closed at all times. This will reduce bad smelly chi from being emitted to your work place. 2. As for the bad chi emitted from the restroom that is not visible, you can protect by hanging a windchime between your work desk and the restroom. The windchime will also act to block your good chi from your work area to be drained away into the restroom. 3. But if that is not possible, hang a coin-sword at your office wall to spear through the bad chi. Also place a "Wu Lou (Gourd)" to absorb any harmful chi. 4. Then try to place a lot of crystal items and other good luck items in your work desk to nourish your working area. 5. Plant some small good luck plants and put a small aquarium with fish and wheel regulator to sustain good chi within your office area. 6. You may also use incense and scented lotus candles to spice up your desk once a day. 7. Try not to face the restroom at work. Mitra Answer: Hi Mitra, Try to fill your work space and living space with lots of love symbols such as crystal gem tree, mandarin ducks, "double happiness" symbol, marriage symbols such as the potent bridal sedan chair etc. Tap towards your nien yen direction by checking your kua number. 1. At work, sit facing your nien yen direction. 2. Sleep with your head pointing towards your nien yen direction. 3. When dining and at meals, sit facing your nien yen direction. 4. Decorate your nien yen direction with lots of authentic feng shui love symbols. 5. Also try to tap the universal love direction (southwest) according to 8-aspirations theory. Another tip for you. Put his picture into a red box and hide it in your nien yen corner. Feng Shui will put you at better-end of getting something easier, but you must also work yourself towards it. 	Question 3: Missing Love Sector on House Map Hi Feng Shui Scholar, My Nien Yen is NW for relationship, marriage & family ties.... I would like to activate a corner in my apt to give me a better relationship with my boyfriend & a possibility of marriage on the cards. Just need to know which area should I be working on?? The SW ( which is the universal relationship corner or the NorthWest corner in my bed room??) P.S 1) SouthWest in my apt is the kitchen 2) NW is a missing sector in my apartment layout, that\'s why I am trying to activate the NW corner in my bedroom.... 	Question 4: Business door location in bad sector Dear Feng Shui Scholar, My date of birth is 6/22/70. I just signed a lease to open a retail store. I'm very excited but I need some help! The main door entering the store faces E, the door opens to a small foyer. There is my "second" main door to the S that opens into the store. When I took a compass reading inside the store, this "second" main door is NE. I read that this is a "bad" location for me. What can I put in the foyer or on the second main door to remedy this? There is also a back entrance that I could use but that door is in the NW section another "bad" location for me. What can I use on this back door to kill these bad locations? Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated! My livelyhood depends on it! I have personally seen so many miracles from our clients in our town and being aware of the importance of enhancing the surrounding chi is going to help you. I understand that you are practicing the 8-Mansions theory. Your best direction is South (Sheng Chi). East is your Fu Wei (personal growth direction). In 8-Mansions, it is the "facing direction" of your door that is important. The location of the the maindoor in your map is not important. There is a difference between facing direaction and location. To explain more, say for eg we talk about the feng shui of a house. These are the important elements: facing direction of a maindoor, facing direction of your stove, location of your bedroom (must be in a good location), location of your kitchen and toilet (preferably in bad location), your personal facing direction of the workdesk and facing direction of your head during sleep. The location of your main door is important from a "Flying Star" perspective. It is important to have combinations of good stars flying into the location of your main door. Since you have both of your doors facing both your auspicious directions, you will have "double-auspiciousness" according to the Taoist Feng Shui. This is an excellent sign. For yourself, try to enter in and out of your store using the door that faces the south. Next is to enhance the chi of your store with Feng Shui symbols for you to attract wealth and business. 	Question 5: Where to place a new pair of elephants Dear Feng Shui Scholar, Hi, recently I just bought a pair of ceramic elephants with it\'s trunk curled up and one carrying a sceptre and the other a gold coin. Each one has a baby elephant on it\'s back. What does it symbolises besides fertility..? Where can I placed it and currently it\'s in my NE cabinet of my dining room. Thx. Jon Tay Answer: Hello Jon, Authentically, such combinations appear on Dragon Tortoise. I suppose elephants carrying sceptre and ingot could signify protection of your authority and wealth. Same as Dragon Tortoise, having baby elephant behind its back would maybe represent support. If the elephants are not in the form of a family, they may not be for descendant luck purposes.
