Product Description
The ram (another representation of the sheep) is a popular new year motif for ushering renewal and change. It connotes happiness and prosperity for the new year. According to the I-Ching, the ram is linked to peace, filial piety, prosperity, good fortune and success. The Ram of Golden Fortune made it to the hall of fame of China's most powerful emperor Chien Lung. The auspicious ram promises fame, wealth gains and luck strengthening to its owners. And it was during those years that china emerged as a powerful and peaceful nation. This ram standing on a pile of gold goodies and has two strings of gold coins bitten by its mouth will signify career and wealth success. This ram will create a bullish year as opposed to a bad year. The Ram especially blesses those whose zodiacs are Rabbit, Pig and Horse.

Front and back views

The ram was an important animal in ancient China, especially to the nomads to whom it provided both food and wool. Bronze vessels in the shape of rams or more typically ram heads, appear frequently in the late Shang dynasty and rams were one of the forms carved in precious jade dating back to the Liang Dynasty. Rams are one of the "earliest instances of pictorial pun as they can be traced to the Han dynasty when the concept of "auspiciousness" or "fortune omen" (xiang) was commonly represented by the image of a ram because they were considered as homophonic at that time.

It is best displayed in ones personal zodiac corner in the living room or at your work desk.

Astrology Wheel: Each zodiac is associated to one subdirection.
