Samantabhadra( pu xián pú sà) means the Universal Worthy. He is a Bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism, together with Sakyamuni Buddha and fellow bodhisattva Manjusri he forms the Buddha trinity. He is the patron of the Lotus Sutra and made the ten great vows which are the basis of a bodhisattva. Known as Puxián in Chinese, he is regularly shown in feminine characteristics, riding an elephant while carrying a lotus leaf 'parasol'. Pu Xian manifests from love, kindness, diligence, patience, and holiness.Samantabhadra is the integration of awareness and emptiness, the unity of appearances and emptiness, the nature of mind, natural clarity with unceasing compassion - that is Samantabhadra from the very beginning. He is mostly honored by His followers for obtaining prosperity and longevity, and even regarded as a healer or protector from illness. Bodhisattva Samanthabhadra is also the guardian deity of zodiacs dragon and snake. Those who are born in the years of dragon and snake can invite him home as the guardian angel. He provides great power in clearing obstacles and inviting wealth from endless resources when these zodiacs are going through difficulty and in great problems.

Different views and angles

In the "Flower Garland Sutra", the Buddha states that Bodhisattva Samantabhadra made ten great vows in his path to full Buddha-hood:
1. To pay homage and respect to all Buddhas.
2. To praise all the Buddhas.
3. To make abundant offerings.
4. To repent misdeeds and evil karmas.
5. To rejoice in others' merits and virtues.
6. To request the Buddhas to continue teaching.
7. To request the Buddhas to remain in the world.
8. To follow the teachings of the Buddhas at all times.
9. To accommodate and benefit all living beings.
10. To transfer all merits and virtues to benefit all beings.

The figurine should be treated as sacred and displayed at important locations only:
1. Diplay the figurine facing outwards towards the main door to neutralize any incoming bad energy. His appearance will benefit you in all aspects of your life.
2. Display the figurine in important areas of your living room to obtain blessings for the family including prosperity, health and relationship luck.
3. Display the figurine in praying altars if you wish to worship. You can chant His mantras everyday for powerful protection and overcoming your problems.
4. For those whose zodiacs are dragon and snake, you can display the figurine in the southeast corner of the house or living room to guard their luck.

Note: Kindly do not place her image in kitchen, toilets or lower than 3 feet. He is highly ranked in the heaven.
