Product Description
A love life is meaningless if it is filled
with stress, unhappiness, sufferings and troubles. A troubled
relationship resulting in a "troubled mind" could lead
to failure in all aspects of life, including failing in your career,
becoming bad tempered, draining your health, falling into financial
pitfalls and getting hurt through bloodshed. This amulet promises
happiness and a stress free life. It has a pair of magpies facing
each other which literally connotes double happiness (shuang xi).
The call of a magpie foretells the arrival of a guest, good news
and good fortune. The coin at the center has characters that integrates
the heaven energy with earth energy to bring harmony. On the other
side of the coin, the God of Happiness preserves the integrity
of relationship and marriage. He blesses one with endless stream
of happiness and relieves old wounds!

In ancient times, the God of Double Happiness
(Xi Shen), brought a lifetime of happiness, good fortune and was
integral to a wedding ceremony. Feng shui masters were often called
in to determine the direction of the God of Happiness on the day
of a wedding ceremony. Once the direction was determined, the
sedan chair of the bride would be turned to face his direction.
During Ching dynasty, a famous feng shui master even wrote a book
to aid in locating this direction.
A famous epic from China mentioned that magpies formed a bridge
by arranging themselves like a flight of stairs to enable the
meeting of a farmer who fell in love with a fairy of the Jade
Emperor in the heaven. In this story, the farmer Chien Niu fell
in love with a fairy Chih Nu while she was visiting earth. They
got married secretly, but soon the Jade Emperor and Empress of
heaven found out and separated the two. However, they strong affection
and genuine love for each other had touched the heart of the Jade
Emperor. Therefore, they are granted to meet each other once a
year on 7th day of 7th lunar moon every year. It is said that
on this day, no magpies could be seen anywhere because they will
flock together hovering to form a bridge from earth to heaven.
That is why it is said to be the bird that connects earth to heaven
and also the bird that promotes love affair. In
ancient china, it is believed that the the presence of magpie
brought happiness and unlimited opportunities, and is considered
as an auspicious omen. You will succeed in finding a new job,

children, obtaining recovery from illness, finding popularity,
